Dr. Leal has worked for the Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum since 1996 and is currently the Science Director and Curator. He has numerous scientific publications, and is also the editor of the malacological journal The Nautilus. On this podcast we talk about the national shell museum, mollusks, the main environmental threats to mollusks and the new species he has discovered.
